Gottman counseling helps couples gain insight into their relationship, resolve conflict and improve relationship satisfaction utilizing a specialized assessment process and a variety of research-based interventions based on the Sound Relationship House theory. This theory was created by the world-renowned marriage researcher Dr. John Gottman. Our sessions meet through a secure video conference (Simple Practice).
Affairs are one of the most challenging issues relationships face. They rupture trust and undermine the very foundation on which committed relationships are built.
I rely on a proven, research-based Gottman approach for working with couples impacted by infidelity and related trauma to work through a coaching process that will empower couples to not only rebuild their relationship, but also create immunity from future betrayals.
Studies suggest premarital counseling is a useful tool for cultivating healthy communication and conflict management skills as you begin this next chapter in your life. This counseling program spans six weeks. Couples will gain research-based tools to help them improve their relationship quality and satisfaction. I will provide psycho education, demonstrations, and counseling sessions that facilitate practicing and applying proven skills that will assist the marriage.

The Bringing Baby Home program is a class that was created to help couples prepare for life with a new baby. It increases the joy of parenting and gives new parents the tools they need to be the best parenting team possible. The program provides the opportunity to plan ahead, so that new parents can keep their friendship strong and develop strategies for parenting intentionally. We provide a safe space to talk about what kind of parents we want to be together and about what babies need to get off to a great start. We learn to be mindful to respond to the needs of our partners and our babies, so that each person in the family feels known, loved, and respected.
The workshop is best taken before or during pregnancy (preferably second trimester), but it can be taken anytime after baby is born. Pre-crawling babies are welcome.
At the end of this workshop, you will be able to:
